What it does
Copilot Code is part of Microsoft Copilot: a person describes an app, tracker, dashboard, automation or workflow, and Copilot picks an approach and builds it. Results include desktop widgets, interactive dashboards and cloud-hosted internal apps that can be shared with a team. It runs in a sandbox, can be hosted inside the company's tenant, and is grounded in work context through Microsoft IQ. It reached the Frontier program at the end of September 2026, with a preview for Microsoft 365 Premium and Pro subscribers announced for later in the year, and it is billed on usage with no published rate.
