Sales and outreach agents

Agents that find prospects, qualify leads, write outreach and prepare the conversation a person then has.

27 agents, each with its inputs, outputs and review level checked by a person.

Sales agents do the research and writing around a sales conversation: building and enriching prospect lists, writing outreach, answering and qualifying leads, booking meetings and preparing the salesperson. The products split into four groups, and buyers searching for an AI SDR usually mean the second.

Inbound agents respond to new leads within moments of a form fill, chat or call, ask qualifying questions and book a meeting, because speed to lead decides many inbound deals. Outbound agents, often called AI SDRs, find prospects that match your ideal customer profile, write personalised sequences, send them and handle replies. CRM-native agents live inside the CRM you already use and update records, draft follow-ups and summarise accounts. Data and research tools find contacts, enrich records and research accounts, and leave the writing to you or another agent.

The listings show the inputs each one needs (an ideal customer profile, a CRM connection, a mailbox), what it returns, and whether messages go out without a person reading them. Choose by how much autonomy you want in front of buyers. If reputation and deliverability matter more than volume, pick an agent whose review level is required and let it draft. If you have a large, well-defined market, an autonomous agent can run sequences with the checks the vendor documents.

Questions

Can an AI SDR send emails on its own, and can I approve them first?

Most can do both: run fully on their own, or put each message in a queue for a person to approve. Message quality depends on the data the agent has about the prospect and on the guidance you give it, so read a batch before switching approval off. The review level on each listing shows the vendor's default.

Do AI SDR tools need an annual contract?

Many sell annual plans and some set a minimum term or a minimum number of seats or credits, while others offer monthly plans. Pricing is often on request in this category. Each listing shows the vendor's published model and starting price with the date it was checked, or states that pricing is not published. Ask about the term before a trial ends.

Which CRM does it plug into?

Each vendor supports its own list, and the depth differs: some only import contacts, others log activity, update fields and create deals. The integrations on each listing name what the vendor documents. Check that it writes back to your CRM so the record stays the source of truth.

What is speed to lead, and can an agent handle it?

Speed to lead is the time between a prospect asking for contact and someone replying. Inbound agents reply by email, chat, text or phone straight away, qualify the lead and book a meeting on a rep's calendar. Check which channels and calendars each listing supports.

Will automated outreach hurt my email deliverability?

It can if volume rises quickly or messages are poorly targeted. Some products include mailbox warm-up, sending limits and separate sending domains; others expect you to manage them. Start small, watch reply and bounce rates, and keep a person reading replies.

Where do the prospect lists come from?

From data providers the vendor integrates with, from the web, or from your own CRM. Each listing names the integrations the vendor documents; the catalogue does not claim coverage the vendor does not state.
